At times, the cost of therapy may be prohibitive for some. Psychotherapy Interns may be a viable option. Prior to becoming state licensed and after obtaining all educational training, interns must complete several thousand hours of supervised experience. Interns provide the opportunity to receive therapy at a reduced rate. They are supervised by a licensed clinician who has also been trained in supervision skills and has been licensed for a minimum of two years.
