About Me

Jamie H. Duddy is a MFT specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, and maintains a private practice in San Mateo, California.

With over 20 years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of Loyola Marymount University specializing in Marriage & Family Therapy, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.

In addition, Jamie has presented at numerous companies/organizations and to general audiences on topics ranging from Stress Management, Sexual Harassments, Time Management, Work/Family Balance, Custody Issues, Parenting and Relationship Issues.

Jamie works deeply with her clients in order to understand where issues originate. This allows for a deeper understanding of oneself and the ability to make behavioral changes in one's life. Her treatment approach is to provide support and understanding while also providing a supportive atmosphere for clients to feel safe enough to begin to look more deeply inward. By doing this, clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths, to identify and achieve life goals.
